Church

I've an overwhelming feeling about finding a church, because in my heart I know we aren't wrong in our desire for a purer walk with God, unfettered by church materialism and hierarchy.

Don't know how good you can see this, but this is the season for "love bugs" in S TX, LA, MI and FL. It is nasty, stinky and very hard to clean from your windows.

I had forgotten how much Colorado moved me ... My heart skips a beat and I can't help but smile and talk with God. What a wonderful creation.

Antelopes everywhere and a porcupine.

I will admit, however, that I have never been this tense driving before. No chance to share the immense beauty thru pictures with you as I am to intent on staying on the road and out of the news, but I love it. Wish you were here. I have a perpetual grin on my face.

Update

Well. Its been a while since writing. Stating the obvious I know. I have enjoyed a week off with my family and friends and it was so refreshing. Cooked my first Brisket, went fishing and bought Kamo a trumpet, which he is very excited about (which I hope lasts.)

I met a gentleman named Patrick in KC before I left on Wed. He is a new driver from Minneapolis by way of Ghana, Africa. We hopped in my car and went to breakfast and had a good time of fellowship, (as it turned out he was a believer.)

First load out this week was to Atlanta, and now from here to Colorado. Can't wait to see the mountains and feel the cool air.

I have read "The Rise of Teddy Roosevelt", Hebrews, James and 1 Peter so far this week. Now I'm working on the story of Krakatoa, the huge volcano that erupted in 1883 in Indonesia that killed 36,000. It eliminated a mountain, but it now grows at the rate of 500' every 25 years ... Incredible.
