Mississippi again. Must have crossed it 50 different ways in my life. The mural pic is for Kamo. Every bldg in the old section of Cuba, Month had murals painted on.

Traffic. This was Dallas. I spent three hours in rush "hour" traffic. Not how I wanted to spend my birthday, but, hey.

Thank you to everyone for the birthday greetings.

Meeting

Today I met another driver named John. Just so happened we both had loads to a retail distribution center and both got sent elsewhere to pick up an empty trailer. At first it would seem we wouldn't have anything in common ...
Isn't that what keeps us from opening up. We are afraid to "break the ice" with that first statement.

Just so happened he had a USMC hat on. My great opener? "Where did you get you hat?". From there we found out we had served at the same time, both were working the same schedule, both had children, both had done many other things, both knew Christ, both love kids and want to help them, and both have an interest in ebay and both think that Americans are greedy.

We sat down and shared a lunch and passed the time as friends for an hour ... Then we both got our dispatch and headed on our way.

It was good to meet you John.

Now those are big tires. I figure they are 9' tall and 4' wide each. There were six on this truck.

Kamo came with Jenny Myers to pick me up and on the way home we saw these windmill blades an a trailer at Beto Junction so we stopped to measure them. Thes are 126' long. We also got to talk to the driver of the truck that pulls them. He said from base to tip of a straight up blade the towers will measure over 300'. Cool.
